On Saturday, 20 June, the Society hosted and celebrated the 5^th annual Windrush Day Thanksgiving Gathering, WDTG. On that day the Society welcomed five dozen family members and friends. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful authentic Caribbean buffet, in the company of a cohort of young people who were there to be recognised as the winners of the Windrush Essay Competition, and to receive the Windrush Nation Awards.
