NETWORKING PROGRAMME

Networking Program

“Simple exchanges can break down walls between us, for when people come together and speak to one another and share a common experience then their common humanity is revealed. We are reminded that we are joined together by our pursuit of a life that’s productive and purposeful, and when that happens mistrust begins to fade and our smaller differences no longer overshadow the things that we share. And that’s where progress begins.”

BARACK OBAMA

THE NETWORKING PROGRAM
  • Aims to build a positive and amicable relationship between fellow Black male professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Nurtures and develops thought leadership by examining the challenges that face our boys and young men and discussing possible solutions and strategies for overcoming them.
  • Shares understanding of the ethos of the Reach Society and introduces the idea of helping our boys and young men by choosing to become a Reach Society role model.

The main objectives of the networking programme in the Reach Society are to generate amity between Black professional men; and to exercise thought leadership around the corrosive issue of the under-achievement of our Black boys and young Black men. Additionally, to promote understanding of the core principles and key processes of the Reach Society which aims to develop a movement of Black professional men who wish to become role models.

For more information on becoming a Reach Society role model please visit the representation programme.

By the very nature and quality of our networking conversations they will also serve to enhance the wider development of Black professional men. Our conversations are hosted on the last Friday of every month.

Reach Society is a social enterprise and not a membership organisation. Our monthly networking conversation, just one of our three programmes, is open to any Black male who feels he has a professional mindset and who wishes to network with fellow professionals.

We would be delighted for you to visit with us; contribute to our conversations; and why not bring a friend.
