The 3rd Manchester Employability Day, 29 May 2025
The 3rd Manchester Employability Day was held on 29 May at the very modern Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse; it was organised by Reach Society in association with MEAP (Make Education a Priority) and a few local groups.
This year the number registered attendees rose to roughly 140, which was double what it was in the previous year. The Society is grateful to the University of Manchester for facilitating the themed workshop that highlighted student life at the University.
Congratulations are due to MEAP for attracting a cohort of volunteer role models many of whom also served on the Panel of Experts. MEAP also attracted a cohort of more than two dozen exhibitors; all of whom engaged the attendees.
The organisers (Reach Society and MEAP) wish to register their appreciation for the ongoing support from the dozens of employers, the universities, and third sector groups that showcased their opportunities for young people on the day.
