Luton Employability Day Tues, 26 May 2026
Roughly 150 young people, aged 10 to 19, and parents or carers, registered for the 5th Luton Employability Day at Chiltern Academy on 26 May, which was organised by Reach Society in association with Luton Council.
This multifaceted event featured 2 themed workshops – one was hosted by a range of self-employed creatives; and the other by 2 volunteer role models who told the story of Sir Geoff Palmer KT (the inventor of the Barley Abrasion Process). Both sessions were well received.
