Extensive experience in transport planning, highway, traffic and road safety engineering. Serves as Events Co-ordinator for the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation South East Region, organising webinars to support Continuous Professional Development. Long-standing volunteer and role model with Reach Society. Previously served as a union representative, school governor chair and swimming club deputy secretary. Committed to promoting diversity in the justice system. Lukman counts himself very lucky to have spent part of his life in Nigeria before returning to his birthplace in the UK.
Yemi is an ICAEW Fellow Chartered Accountant and CFA charter holder with deep experience in financial leadership, M&A execution, valuations, and strategic transformation. He has driven £100m+ transactions, led the £43m sale and integration of Liberata, delivered IFRS / US GAAP conversions across global groups, and partnered with boards, lenders, and shareholders at scale.
Beyond finance, he has built evidence-based African history publications including 34 published books, and AI-driven executive education, designed high-impact training for governors, rectors, and public institutions. His work blends technical excellence, strategic clarity, and nation-building ambition -whether negotiating acquisitions, shaping policy, or creating knowledge systems that enhance how people learn, govern and lead.
Alex Bwomono is a London based educator, school leader, and governor known for his work in primary education and professional development initiatives. He believes that teachers have the potential to be the chief architect of a student’s academic development and a facilitator of their learning.
Alex is actively involved in professional development, having completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT) and National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). He has also obtained certifications in anti-racism leadership and other educational areas.Outside of work, Alex enjoys music, strength training and football; and is a keen Arsenal fan!
Ovie is a Chief Marketing Technologist & Ai Consultant. Professionally he leads within the dynamic intersection of marketing, technology and consumer behaviour. He informs strategy, supports visionary leaders and accelerates innovation for an inclusive Ai driven future.
He has founded serval companies and partnered with others for entrepreneurial activities within his areas of interest. He is serving as an explorer and advisor for a circle of emerging technologies within his sphere of expertise. He enjoys solving challenging problems and working on inspiring projects that have the potential to change our world! Ovie has a Behavioural Science Master’s degree from UCL; and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) from the University of Birmingham.
Inspired by my father, my career began in engineering; and culminated at the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC as an electronics design engineer.
After being headhunted, I transitioned to human resources, HR where I discovered my passion for equality and inclusion. I have held key roles in recruitment, learning and development, and policy across the BBC, OFCOM, Defra, and the Ministry of Justice, MoJ. As a committed advocate for racial equity, I have chaired several Civil Service race networks and led initiatives for inclusive workplaces. Outside of work, I served as a school governor, football coach, and as a trained magistrate.
Rob was born in Paddington and grew up in the NW London. He joined the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in Oct 1983. Rob studied at the Civil Service College for two years, gaining a Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) and is now a member of CIPD.
Rob was a founding member of P.R.O.U.D. the MoJ’s BAME staff network in 2001 and also chaired of the Civil Service Race Equality Network (CSREN).
In the summer of 2015 Rob led the MoJ’s Diversity & Inclusion Team where he led the delivery of key priorities, including the Department’s response to the Civil Service Talent Action Plan (T.A.P) and renegotiating contracts with all Diversity Staff Networks.

In May 2016 Rob was chosen to lead the MoJ’s Race Project – an inward facing programme of work aimed at supporting the MoJ’s published Diversity & Inclusion objectives and turning the dial on race equality.
In September 2016 Rob was elected Chair of the Civil Service Race Forum an umbrella network of BAME Staff Networks across the civil service, comprising 30+ Government departments and connecting 6,000+ BAME civil servants across all levels. Rob ended his tenure as Chair of CSRF in 2018 and continues to support the CSRF as an advisor.
Rob chaired the MoJ’s Diverse Leaders Taskforce in support of the Civil Service Diversity and Inclusion Strategy until March 2019 and after 35yrs with the MoJ departed in April 2019 to support the Department for Education [DfE] with Embedding Culture Change.
Rob has been a Trustee with RELATE for eleven years and also volunteers as the Social Media Director with the Reach Society @ReachSociety10.
Rob was awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours list for ‘Services to Race Equality in the workplace and the community’ and received his honour from the Queen at Buckingham Palace in May 2018. Rob was also the inaugural winner of Investing in Ethnicity’s Workplace Hero Award in Nov 2018.
After two years at the DfE as Head of Culture Change and a total of 38yrs with the Civil Service, Rob departed the public sector to launch his own consultancy Krystal Alliance supporting organisations across all sectors to be more inclusive. In October 2021 Rob was included in HR Magazines list of fifty ‘Most Influential Thinkers’.
