Project symbol, launched in October 2025, is for inspiring Black young people through the life story of Sir Geoff Palmer, a beloved patron of the Society. It is rolled out in two distinct parts. Firstly via the Sir Geoff Palmer Award, which is presented each year to an exceptional contributor to the Black community and wider society. Secondly, through the telling of Sir Geoff‘s journey from humble beginnings to achieving a knighthoods in England and then in Scotland.
